your ai workflows, tested for the day the provider fails.

Routefort is a managed AI gateway for small businesses. Every request has a fallback route, and we test that the fallback still does the job your workflow needs. An answer is not the same as a recovery.

what actually goes wrong

The provider goes down.
Your extraction job, your drafting tool and your internal assistant all stop at once, and nobody notices until a customer does.
The model changes under you.
A new version ignores the JSON format your workflow parses, or stops calling tools. The API still answers 200.
The data goes somewhere it should not.
A fallback that quietly routes to a provider outside the EU, or one that keeps your prompts, breaks a policy you signed.
The bill runs away.
One loop with no budget can spend a month of credits in an afternoon.

one endpoint, three routes, tested every day

Your applications talk to one OpenAI-compatible endpoint. Behind it, every request has an order of routes to fall through.

  1. 1

    primary

The provider and model you chose, under your own keys and budgets.

  2. 2

    eu-only

An EU-hosted provider that does not retain your data, for when the primary is down or out of policy.

  3. 3

    local

A small model on hardware you control, for when every cloud route is gone.

Measured on 20 October 2026: with the primary provider cut off, the chat route answered every test workflow from the local route in 1.1 to 2.2 seconds.

what a pilot includes

Gateway
One endpoint with virtual keys per team or application, spend limits and a fallback order you can read.
Recovery tests
Your own workflows run over every route on a schedule. Each run checks the answer, not just the status code: valid JSON, the right tool call, inside your deadline.
Failover drills
We break the primary on purpose and record how long your workflows take to come back.
Local route
Optional. A small model on a machine in your office that keeps the basics answering when the internet does not.
Team workspace
Optional. A chat interface for your staff that goes through the same gateway, keys and policies.
